About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead (Firmware & Embedded Systems) to lead our IoT engineering team. You’ll be the technical backbone behind our embedded projects — building reliable firmware, guiding engineers, and shaping our IoT technology roadmap.
This is a hands-on leadership role (around 80% coding, 20% leadership).
You’ll work closely with the Head of Engineering and CEO to design systems, enforce standards, and mentor the next generation of embedded engineers.

What you’ll do

Contact potential partners to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Lead firmware development on platforms like ESP32, STM32, Teensy, PSOC, and other MCUs.
Implement and optimize low-power embedded systems for sensor, BLE, and IoT applications.
Design modular and scalable code architecture (RTOS-based, HAL abstraction, etc.).
Drive debugging, hardware bring-up, and performance tuning.
Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain documentation.
Mentor 4–6 engineers (firmware, hardware, test).
Plan sprint deliverables and ensure on-time project execution.
Collaborate with Cloud and Hardware teams for system integration.
Work closely with the Head of Engineering on technical decisions and roadmap planning.
Support pre-sales estimation and technical proposals when needed.

Is it YOU we are looking for?

Must Have

5+ years of hands-on experience in firmware/embedded systems.
Strong in BLE, low-power design, and RTOS-based development.
Solid understanding of electronics and schematics.
Proven ability to lead small teams or mentor engineers.
Good English communication skills (technical discussion level).
Strong sense of ownership, discipline, and structure.

Nice-to-have

Experience with IoT frameworks (ESP-IDF, Zephyr, FreeRTOS).
Prior work in international or multi-client environments.
MSc or equivalent advanced degree.
