We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Firmware Developer to join our innovative team. As part of our dynamic R&D division, you will play a crucial role in developing firmware for cutting-edge products across various industries, including IoT, healthcare, and consumer electronics. This role will require deep expertise in microcontroller platforms, wireless communication protocols, sensor integrations, and both bare-metal and RTOS-based development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for MCUs such as Nordic, STM32, and PSoC.
  • Architect and develop both bare-metal and RTOS-based (e.g., Zephyr OS) firmware for a variety of embedded systems.
  • Write efficient and robust code in C/C++ for real-time applications.
  • Develop and integrate low-level communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN for sensor and peripheral interfacing.
  • Implement wireless communication protocols such as BLE, WiFi, LoRaWAN, and Cellular to enable device connectivity.
  • Integrate and develop drivers for motion sensors, bio-sensors, cameras, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) devices.
  • Perform debugging, validation, and optimization of embedded systems to ensure reliability and performance in both RTOS and bare-metal environments.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless firmware-hardware integration.
  • Maintain documentation for firmware architecture, implementation, and debugging.

Is it YOU we are looking for?

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with motion sensors, bio-sensors, camera systems, and HMI integration.
  • Strong understanding of bare-metal firmware development, including managing interrupts, timers, and peripherals without an OS.
  • Familiarity with Zephyr OS or similar real-time operating systems.
  • Understanding of low-power design and optimization techniques for battery-operated devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, specifically for MCUs like Nordic, STM32, and PSoC.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
  • Extensive experience in bare-metal development, including handling of low-level communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
  • Experience with wireless communication protocols including BLE, WiFi, LoRaWAN, and Cellular.
  • Knowledge of sensor interfacing and HMI development is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with development tools like debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Bonus
  • Hands-on experience with Zephyr OS project stack.
